Clinical Mental Health Specialization
Many challenges people experience do not happen in isolation. They are often connected to relationships, past experiences, and the ways we have learned to cope over time. I am interested in helping individuals make sense of these patterns in a way that feels collaborative, supportive, and meaningful, rather than rushed or overly clinical.
In my work, I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions more openly, while also beginning to relate to themselves and others in ways that feel more intentional and supportive.
Years in Practice
I am currently a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counselling student at Adler University, where I am completing practicum training. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. My background includes experience in mental health settings, as well as working with children, adolescents, and adults.
I am particularly interested in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and interpersonal challenges, and I am committed to continuing to develop my clinical skills through ongoing learning and supervision.
Therapeutic Approaches
I take an integrative and relational approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and psychodynamic perspectives. I am also interested in incorporating mindfulness-based practices to support self-awareness and emotional regulation.
I view therapy as a collaborative process, where the therapeutic relationship plays an important role in fostering growth. Together, we can explore patterns, build insight, and develop tools that feel aligned with your needs and goals.
